Workout of the Day
Our CrossFit program is coached to be challenging, fun and results-driven. Workout of the Day classes utilize constantly varied and functional movements performed at a high intensity, with an intended stimulus designed in each day’s program to receive maximum fitness benefits for each athlete. Our program is scalable and inclusive of all types of athletes.
Free Intro Workout
A weekly 60 minute opportunity for new athletes to come try their first CrossFit class at no cost. More “get to know you” than “initiation by fire,” this informal class is designed for curious individuals who want to try out a CrossFit-style workout and learn more about The Power House group training format, pricing, and membership options. In our Community Class, you will meet our coaches, get a tour of the facility, and learn hands-on about our style of training. Movement techniques will be introduced and instructed in a way that meets the needs of all levels and fitness abilities. Come prepared to sweat, learn new skills, and have fun!
This customized class focuses on strength-building movements through a variety of slow lifts (pushing, pulling, and squatting), dynamic lifts (Olympic lifts), strength complexes, and auxiliary exercises. While there is occasionally a short conditioning element, class is primarily dedicated to lifting technique and execution. Athletes benefit most from attending Building Strength on a regular basis, as class programming usually works through 4-6 week training cycles that build in weight and intensity. Participants typically should complete at least three months of consistent CrossFit workouts before starting this class, or with the approval of a coach.
Skills & Drills
Our Skill & Drills class is where we break down the complicated movements found in CrossFit and make them accessible to achieve. Progressions will be given from beginner to advanced levels, and while conditioning is not the focus, be prepared to work to fatigue!
Our Women’s Only Class is designed for the fitness development and enjoyment of the 50+ female population. This class welcomes all women who want to work out in a fun, challenging, and non-intimidating environment with other awesome ladies. This is a perfect way to make working out social, energetic, and effective!
Fountain of Youth
Our 55+ group exercise class is designed for older adults to maintain and improve their cardiovascular health, balance, strength and flexibility. Bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, TRX training, and kettlebell work will help participants get a well-rounded workout in a fun group setting, with lasting benefits in their daily quality of life.
Junk Yard Dogs
Our Junk Yard Dogs teen strength and conditioning program is designed for the specific fitness needs of the teenage population, developing the ten core competencies required in sports and athletic disciplines (strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, stamina, speed, agility, power, cardiovascular endurance, and accuracy). JYD teaches proper movement mechanics within a functional fitness framework, offering each kid the experience of both challenge and reward in every class. Our program prepares athletes for excellence in sport, and more importantly, in life.
Fitness and fun? Your kids can have it all! Our CrossFit Kids program is specifically designed for kids ages 5-8 and 9-13 and will help your kids develop a lifelong love for fitness. Movement skills will be taught and practiced through teamwork, games, and a lively dose of competition. FREE FOR MEMBERS’ KIDS!
A 60 minute Vinyasa style sequence linking breath to movement. At an athletic pace, we will build strength and endurance while opening all the major muscles and joints in the body. A developed Power Yoga practice heals, detoxifies, and exhilarates the body and mind with an emphasis on quality of movement, balance, and intention.
A 60-minute slower flow designed to calm the nervous system, create more depth in each pose and foster an overall release of tension and tightness. Soft tissue work and mobility tools may be incorporated into sequencing to open greater ranges of motion and facilitate full body healing.
A guided recovery practice through self-myofascial release, soft tissue repair, corrective exercises, and core activation. Using foam rollers, mobility balls, and other tools to open the body’s range of motion, Mobility class is a key strategy to staying injury free and progressing into higher levels of flexibility and mobility.
A 60 minute high intensity sweatfest comprised of cardio intervals, bodyweight movements, and resistance training. Focused on the metabolic conditioning elements of CrossFit, Power HIIT increases aerobic capacity and stamina while also building strength. CrossFit experience is not required.
A 60-minute class utilizing kettlebells to train a variety of multi-muscle and multi-joint movements such as swings, cleans, presses, snatches, carries, squats, deadlifts, kettlebell complexes, Turkish getups, and core exercises. Kettlebell skills are instructed and perfected each class, resulting in dynamic and powerful athletes.
