Workout of the Day
Our CrossFit program is coached to be challenging, fun and results-driven. Workout of the Day classes utilize constantly varied and functional movements performed at a high intensity, with an intended stimulus designed in each day’s program to receive maximum fitness benefits for each athlete. Our program is scalable and inclusive of all types of athletes.
If you are new to CrossFit, this is the place to start your journey! Level One classes will teach the most fundamental movements found in CrossFit, creating the building blocks each athlete needs to become competent and confident as a Power House member. The Level One classes create the majority of a new member’s first month of membership. Coached within a small group environment with a focus on meeting each athlete where they are at, our Level One program is a surefire way to set each person up for long term success.

This customized class focuses on strength-building movements through a variety of slow lifts (pushing, pulling, and squatting), dynamic lifts (Olympic lifts), strength complexes, and auxiliary exercises. While there is occasionally a short conditioning element, class is primarily dedicated to lifting technique and execution. Athletes benefit most from attending Building Strength on a regular basis, as class programming usually works through 4-6 week training cycles that build in weight and intensity. Participants typically should complete at least three months of consistent CrossFit workouts before starting this class, or with the approval of a coach.
